James 3:17-18: But the wisdom
from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full
of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity. And the
harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Psalm 103:17-18: But the
steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those
who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children, to those who
keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments.

John 3:16:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.

I Corinthians
13 (partial chapter):
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not arrogant. It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking, it is not easily provoked, it keeps no record of
wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love bears
all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love
never fails. And now abide faith, hope, and love, these three; but the greatest
of these is love.

I Corinthians 13
(entire chapter): And now
I will show you the most excellent way. If I speak in the tongues of men
and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging
cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all
knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love,
I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to
the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing....
